The study aims to investigate threats that might occur in diversification management, operational risks of banking services in the process of digitalization, as well as the impact on customers and banks. The right choice of a risk management model for a bank plays an important role in the sustainable development of competitiveness and the transformation of banking activities in the future. This work assesses bank risks and determines information risks in relation to the total capital of Santander Bank of Spain. The authors adapted an operational risk management (ORM) model to minimize the risks of the bank’s digitalization and upcoming operational risks. The ratio of the total operational risk to the total bank’s capital was 0.65%, which is below the permissible minimum value and is acceptable. Based on this indicator, diversification of business risks can be applied. As a result of the study, the total value of operational risks was calculated and the acceptability of this indicator to the capital of Santander Bank was assessed, which allowed the authors to assess whether the value was critical. In addition, it was also revealed that the main external risk of Santander Bank in 2018 was fraud in the use of online payments. The results might help to more effectively evaluate insurance payments for identified operational risks and effectively make decisions and optimize reporting documents of banks

In Poland, for many years the access to air transport for the average citizen was very limited, both in terms of cost and distance from the airport. After the liberalization of the aviation market and the introduction of the policy of "open skies" this situation has, however, changed dramatically. The emergence of low-cost carriers definitely increased the availability of air transport in financial terms. It had also a great influence on the development of regional airports, which so far played only a subordinate role in relation to the country's central airport in Warsaw airport. The development of regional airports largely removed the territorial limitation of the availability of air transport, since it is from these ports that you can now get to many parts of Europe and the world. Therefore, we are now seeing a continuous increase in the significance of regional airports. This trend concerns not only Poland, but also many other European countries. The purpose of this article is to determine the degree of development of regional airports in Poland and an indication of their role in the country's aviation market against the background of trends in air transport in selected EU countries. Mapping of policies affecting female migrants and policy analysis : the Polish case

    Get PDF
The Polish policy towards foreigners is “European”; it does not have the features of the global policy, determined by the relevant UN documents concerning, among other things, the rights of migrants (human rights), fighting with discrimination of this category, particularly visible in correlation with gender, race, and the category male migrant/ female migrant. In numerous documents concern with the rights of female migrants is emphasized. In Poland, legislators do not pay attention to the sociological aspect of the issue. Detailed data concerning women are completely lacking. Poland has neither implemented policies with reference to the fight with discrimination in access to publicly provided goods and services, nor has a competent central body been appointed to support the fight against discrimination. Moreover, on 3 November 2005 the position of the Government Plenipotentiary for the Equal Status of Women and Men was closed down, whose tasks included fighting all kinds of discrimination and which undertook initiatives preventing racism, while one of its tasks was work on the preparation of the establishment of a special office dealing with discrimination. The attitude of public authorities to affirmative action must also be viewed negatively - so far no programmes have been planned concerning it; there is only the aforementioned provision, which unfortunately does not translate into appropriate legislative regulations or a policy promoting employment
